Walk 4 remembrance

Dedicated to all those who served our nation and were overwhelmed by the battle within

Sunday 13 April 2025

Following five years of remarkable success, the Walk4Remembrance is making a triumphant return in 2026.

This event provides a significant opportunity for our community to unite, fostering support, and raising awareness for veterans who have lost their lives to internal battles. By breaking the silence surrounding mental illness, we aim to contribute to the funding of impactful programs that are actively making a difference in the lives of veterans. Join us in this meaningful endeavour as we stride together towards a brighter future.

The approx. 8km walk will commence from Currumbin RSL Reserve out by the creek with the halfway turning point being at Tugun Surf Life Saving Club.

All funds raised will be donated to the Veteran Support Centre so they can continue to provide quality support and service to veterans.

On the completion of the walk, a small cenotaph service will be held to remember those veterans who have lost their lives from the battle within.
